Delete your TapHail account

In the app (fastest): open Settings → Account & privacy → Delete my account, then type DELETE to confirm. Everything below is erased immediately.

Can't open the app? Email hello@taphail.com from the address on your account, or quoting the mobile number you signed up with. We delete the account within 30 days (usually much sooner) and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

• Your name, nickname, email, mobile number, date of birth and profile photo
• Your emergency contact
• Your sign-in, push-notification registrations and responder/volunteer records
• Your call points and channel memberships

What can remain

• Voice archive copies expire on their own within 14 days.
• Emergency-incident records needed for safety and fairness are kept with your name and contact details removed.
• Messages you already sent to a channel may still appear in other members' history.
